Business Opportunities

The Edmonton Business & Industry Park masterplan has been designed to accommodate both existing and emerging industry sectors in Far North Queensland.

The State Government has identified three key economic drivers for the Cairns region which are aviation, marine and “tropical expertise.”

Other identified emerging industries in the region include advanced manufacturing, creative industries, electronics, ethanol and process foods.  The site provides an opportunity for these economic drivers and emerging industries to be incorporated into the Edmonton Business and Industry Park.

The Edmonton Business and Industry Park has been designed to incorporate suitable land uses for organisations in established industry sectors such as health, display facilities (bulky goods precinct), professional services, industry and manufacturing.
